Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
Don’t miss this bird sanctuary which is bird watcher’s paradise, located about 16 km from Kottayam on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Some migratory birds and local species could be seen here. Siberian Stork, Egret, Teal, Water Duck, and the Cuckoo are some of the names in the list. If you can come between the months of June and August that would be exact time to do some bird watching.
